Interesting talk. It is split up in 3 video's don't know why, but all 3 is pretty informative on the current state of the war.

I do think he is slightly over selling Russia, and it will still be messy.
The same "expert" that claimed this

NEW YORK, January 11. /TASS/. For years, the United States had been turning Ukraine into a base for strikes on Russia, and Moscow had no other choice but to respond, said Col. (ret.) Douglas Macgregor, who was the former advisor to the Secretary of Defense in the Donald Trump administration.

Really, only since 2021 when they became aware of Russia's plans for Ukraine.

It is an interesting video. Watch it or don't. I don't care. I even said he is over selling Russia.

But trying to "debunk" the speaker without listening to it just means you already lost any kind of debate.

And russian lover scum
You guys need to add the tagline to yourselves. "We are committed communists and love the ANC"
Once again, just because somebody sides with Russia in this conflict it doesn't mean they endorse everything that that side does, or do you endorse what the US and allies did in Iraq? And you need to include the contractors that were used if you are going to include Wagner in this one. Apples for apples and all.

So with that in mind, how does that make somebody that doesn't share your opinion a piece of scum? All that shows is your intolerance. I would love if everybody had the same opinions as I do but that would make for very boring days around the braai and very quiet evenings at the pub. Learn to appreciate that people have different views and it is ok not to agree. At the end of it all you get to go home and sleep in your own little bubble like the rest of us. Don't let this keep you up at night sweetie pie.

I have a more peaceful suggestion.

Russia stops the war and pulls back to their borders. Civilians will be far safer that way and I am sure you can agree that their safety is paramount.
I do. That is why Zelensky's choices, particularly a year ago are also so confounding.

In Germany, training of the Ukrainian military to work with the Marder infantry fighting vehicle begins. The first military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived in Cologne on January 26. Earlier, Berlin announced that it would transfer about 40 infantry fighting vehicles to Kyiv. Training of Ukrainian crews to work with Leopard tanks should also begin soon.

So many logical fallacies tied up in this post of yours.

Endorsing the Russian's for their war, but not endorsing them for everything else, sounds like you just enjoy their imperialism and their killing of civilians. Ignoring that all the other things they do go hand in hand with them invading Ukraine.

And about sharing opinions. It depends on the opinions. You guys keep going on about "not being Binary" in your thoughts, but here you are being very binary. Plenty of people around with opinions that differ, that I wouldn't characterise as being "scum".

However, someone with an opinion that thinks Russia killing 30 000 civilians is an act worthy of their support, is "scum".
The same with a Nazi. That person and his opinions are "scum". Or a pedophile, or a rapist, or a murderer etc. They are "scum". The degree to which they are "scum" can also vary.

You strawmanned it all into a binary world. tisk tisk.

Calls into question the claims that Ukraine is running out of manpower when they can send combatants for training. While conscription has been implemented, there is a waiting list.

I can't remember what exactly made me think about that but Wars have ramifications that go beyond just the battlefield.

Anyway seems as though this may not hypothetical at all. There's suspicions that Russia intelligence operates are working with Russian organized crime to smuggle presumably captured NATO weapons to the west.

I've posted this story earlier

Russian intelligence could just smuggle Russian weapons into Europe and cause havoc, they dont need western weapons. That being said Russian and Ukrainian society is going to be screwed for years to come, the are both going to have a huge influx of amputees and men suffering from PTSD. This will all put an increased pressure on civil services with crime and the like. Not to mention all the mines that are going to maim civilians for many many years.

Many thanks to the man with a micro penis, putler. Hes done a good job at killing Russians, probably the best since Stalin.

You don't get it.

What's the point of smuggling Russian weapons to the west politically?

It makes sense to smuggle NATO into the hands of criminals and terrorists in the west so they can create narrative to the average citizen that sending weapons to Ukraine will lead to more terrorists and criminals getting military grade weapons. In the hope that sending weapons to Ukraine isn't political feasible for the leaders in European countries.

This is targeted more towards the hearts and minds of the ordinary European citizen in a similar way they tried with natural gas imports.
