So many logical fallacies tied up in this post of yours.

Endorsing the Russian's for their war, but not endorsing them for everything else, sounds like you just enjoy their imperialism and their killing of civilians. Ignoring that all the other things they do go hand in hand with them invading Ukraine.

And about sharing opinions. It depends on the opinions. You guys keep going on about "not being Binary" in your thoughts, but here you are being very binary. Plenty of people around with opinions that differ, that I wouldn't characterise as being "scum".

However, someone with an opinion that thinks Russia killing 30 000 civilians is an act worthy of their support, is "scum".
The same with a Nazi. That person and his opinions are "scum". Or a pedophile, or a rapist, or a murderer etc. They are "scum". The degree to which they are "scum" can also vary.

You strawmanned it all into a binary world. tisk tisk.
not objective, pandering, emo, biased.
Many thanks to the man with a micro penis, putler.
I have seen this reference to President Putin quite often here. Kinda jealous of the close relationship you must have had to state that so confidently, or is it just a case of 'more you say it, more you can manifest your fantasies'?
Is there pillow biting involved? Tell us more please.

Once again, just because somebody sides with Russia in this conflict it doesn't mean they endorse everything that that side does, or do you endorse what the US and allies did in Iraq? And you need to include the contractors that were used if you are going to include Wagner in this one. Apples for apples and all.

So with that in mind, how does that make somebody that doesn't share your opinion a piece of scum? All that shows is your intolerance. I would love if everybody had the same opinions as I do but that would make for very boring days around the braai and very quiet evenings at the pub. Learn to appreciate that people have different views and it is ok not to agree. At the end of it all you get to go home and sleep in your own little bubble like the rest of us. Don't let this keep you up at night sweetie pie.

You have obviously missed my definition of what makes a person scum ...
I have posted it multiple times. If the shoe fits, wear it ..

Edit What the hell :
I assosciate the label of "scum" to anyone who
Supports or Supports those who DELIBERATELY target the raping/killing/assualting or abducting of CIVILIAN children/women or men.
Deflect all you want. Just highlights what you do.

So you are then convicted by your own words, the US and their allies murdered between 30 000 and 90 000 civilians in Fallujah alone in a single battle. Shame on you.

And it is very possible, in fact likely, that a person will support one thing on principle but not agree on method. Most things in the world are this way or are you new to the concept?

Personally, I am against a country appointing itself as supposed safe guard of democracy and freedom when these are the very principles they manipulate to enrich themselves. And when you don't agree with them then they try and bully you through sanctions or not renewing certain licenses to force you to see things their way.

Sorry, but the world really doesn't need a country like that. A country who has politicians that are bought and paid for by the arms complex as well as the energy sector in the US. Even all these tanks that are going to be sent are apparently going to be replaced by mainly US made tanks with the need for essentially a "maintenance" contract. So at that point not only has this funneled most of the tanks in Europe through US interests but then the US will be able to control when and how you use the tanks too. Yes, this sounds like a healthy position to be in.

All that has happened that has inflamed relations in the past year all has one thing in common and that is that the US has had their hand in it somewhere. And don't come with the BS of they are trying to protect us, no they are not, they are trying to stir up controlled conflict. Thankfully China didn't bite but the day may just come where China decides screw it and simply takes out Taiwan. North Korea will use that as the perfect time to likely hit Japan as well. Europe and the US will not be able to handle a situation like that since most of their weapons are sitting in back orders. The ones that the US has available will not be usable as they are simply not anywhere near the conflict.

The fact that Russia has not resorted to nuclear yet is also something that we should all be grateful for. No matter what you may personally feel on the topic, if Russia were to use a nuclear weapon the response from the US and NATO collective will not be the response we have all heard. Even they know that such a dramatic escalation would result in M.A.D. They will issue threats, they will condemn and they may even launch a small, "untraceable" strike somewhere against a single ship that both sides will understand as that is the price to pay but then things will move on. The chapter on Nagasaki and Hiroshima will have Kyiv added to the list of cities that have been subjected to an atomic/nuclear weapon.

Every time I hear about a wave of missiles and drones coming in from Russia immediately I fear that this could be the time that they swarm the air defenses to clear the way for a nuclear strike. I fear that it is only time before something like that happens. The sending in of tanks does seem like a deliberate attempt to escalate things especially since according to the media Ukraine is winning.

None of us rejoice in the murder of civilians or the raping of anybody; not when Russians do it and not when Americans do it. So you can rather get another tune to sing.

Sorry, I was using the definition of scum that the entire world associates with the word and not your very limited use of the word.

You don't get it.

What's the point of smuggling Russian weapons to the west politically?

It makes sense to smuggle NATO into the hands of criminals and terrorists in the west so they can create narrative to the average citizen that sending weapons to Ukraine will lead to more terrorists and criminals getting military grade weapons. In the hope that sending weapons to Ukraine isn't political feasible for the leaders in European countries.

This is targeted more towards the hearts and minds of the ordinary European citizen in a similar way they tried with natural gas imports.

Well to take your point on board, if there is an issue with NATO weapons being funneled to criminal/terrorist organisations, why isn't this already a problem at a year into this war? or because of the vast swathe of equipment left behind by the US in Afghanistan a few years back?

Also, does he actually have a problem with all the Russian weapons left in other countries?

I am not limitting the use of teh word "scum", but in my case I use my definition wrt to this thread
Oh and yeah at this moment in time most of the russian population appears to be supporting the definition of "scum". Publically there were even medals handed out for it
We even have a few rabid supporters active in this thread.

Oh ok, well best of luck to Russia with that, could easily backfire, one would think they have learnt from the gas and how that's blown up in their face. European countries shouldnt be detered by terrorist actions which is exactly what that is.

You do realise that put some countries that you are prob very ok with, top of your 'scum' list.

Tell me how many threads of "I hate the **country name**" I need to make for you in off topic.
Like I said, I gave my definition. If the shoe fits you, wear it. I dont care.
I agree that different people have different sets of morals. You can have yours. Will not stop me thinking of you the way I do.
