Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister of Ukraine, has stated about the request to discuss with international partners the need to increase electricity imports from the European Union countries to two gigawatts.

I doubt that claim but anyway.
A honest look into that would be interesting.
They had proper soviet era nuclear to start off with.
They have since then lost half their population and most of their economy is at a standstill.
So how much power do they actually use compared to before and what is still working?

Quoted wrong thing. Mend to qoute post about "loadshedding". Not going to try and fix it.

Read up on the Budapest accords regarding Ukraine's Nuclear weapon situation. The only thing the US and Britain is doing by supplying arms to Ukraine is holding up on their end of the accords when Russia broke it.
