Russia has been defined as a terrorist state, but it should also be considered as a hypocritical state. There are two dimensions to Russia’s hypocrisy.

On the one hand, the Kremlin derides American hegemony with President Vladimir Putin declaring that the US has nothing to offer the world but its hegemony or the preservation of US domination. The reality is much more complex as Putin’s primary concern is with ensuring and advancing Russian hegemony or the continuation and enhancement of Russian domination.

On the other hand, Russia as president of the Security Council is meant to support and defend the UN charter and yet Russia is one of the few countries whose actions are counter to this charter. Central to this charter is that a country has no inherent right to instigate a war but there is an inherent right for individual or collective self-defence if an armed attack occurs.

US opens interagency assessment on leaked classified documents

The US Department of Defense says multiple agencies are assessing the impact that leaked intelligence documents could have on national security and US allies and partners.
“The Department of Defense continues to review and assess the validity of the photographed documents that are circulating on social media sites and that appear to contain sensitive and highly classified material,” the department said in a statement.
The leak of documents containing details ranging from Ukraine’s air defences to Israel’s Mossad spy agency have officials scrambling to identify tots source.
Some experts say it could be an American.
“The focus now is on this being a US leak as many of the documents were only in US hands,” Michael Mulroy, a former senior Pentagon official, told the Reuters news agency in an interview.

"Aeroflot" sends its first aircraft to Iran for repairs Other countries do not service Aeroflot's planes because of sanctions.

Russian airline Aeroflot [Russian Airlines] has sent its aircraft to Iran for repairs for the first time in its history amid Western sanctions.

Source: Kremlin-aligned news outlet RBC, citing two sources close to the airline

Quote: "An Airbus A330-300 wide-body airliner with registration number RA-73700 flew to Tehran on 5 April, where the aircraft will be serviced by technicians from Mahan Air, i.e., Iran's largest airline," the statement said.

Details: According to RBC's sources, Aeroflot has discussed the possibility of maintenance in Iran for several months.

"The key task of sending the first A330 to Mahan Air for repair is maintaining the aircraft's landing gear struts. Previously, Aeroflot used other providers’ facilities, including Hong Kong-based HAECO, for these purposes. In the summer of 2021, the carrier signed a new long-term agreement to maintain and overhaul aircraft components with this company," RBC writes.

However, international sanctions imposed in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine have affected, among other things, repair services and the supply of spare parts to Russian carriers.

And will now affect the supply of spare parts to Iran. Some people enjoy self flagellation.

Yes and Hitler only wanted a land corridor between Danzing/Gdansk and the Third Reich.

We've had Russia apologists blame the Ukrainians for that here, last year.
Read it again, I’m not blaming Ukraine you tit, I’m stating that restoring the flow of water to Crimea was probably one of Russia’s main motivations to invade because without a strong and steady water supply their stolen land in Crimea was pretty useless.

I'm not the tit here. Like it or not, Russia would have invaded regardless. They made that abundantly clear.

Wtf are you on about, does this thread make everyone daft af??
I just stated some points that may have motivated Russia's invasion that from my reading hadn’t had much exposure in news reporting, I just found that interesting. No way was I trying to imply those points gave Russia some kind of right to invade.
Relax

Relax

The one who should relax is you. I don't recall calling you anything. You calm down, "airborne".

I'm pointing out that the Russians would have done this anyhow. I'm not saying you're wrong.

Russian propaganda has used this thing as a convenient excuse already. You're a year too late, anyway.

Calm the heck down man.
