A year and fifteen days of the war have passed. In the last twenty-four hours, nothing new has happened on the front lines. Nothing. Except that the Russian invaders had come to a foreign land and are now clinging to something that does not belong to them. And they want to grab even more. There isn't a crime they haven't already committed.
They spent a lot of money and killed hundreds of thousands of their own people and other people. They have destroyed their country's future and the reputation of their people. And what have they achieved in return? Nothing. Nothing but the hate and contempt of humanity. The ridiculous territorial gains they comfort their citizens with cannot impress even a clinical idiot. They are total ruins, heaps of broken war equipment and endless minefields that will now take decades to clear. But even these acquisitions cannot be regarded as profit. They must be defended at great cost because no one in the world recognizes their right to these lands and they have been told in no uncertain terms that the war will continue until they are gone. It is now clear to all that they will face decades of isolation and contempt.
The lives of an entire generation of Russians have been flushed down the toilet and will now degenerate into pathetic survival and impotent envy of the rest of humanity. That they have to pay in full for the arrogance and wild hubris they've had a great time with all these years before. They no longer think of winning. They are feverishly looking for ways to maintain the status quo. They must at least console themselves with a draw. Your psyche cannot handle defeat. But they will have to drink the bitter cup of defeat to the end. And they will have to draw consequences from what they did and where they ended up. Russia, Russia... What have you done to yourselves... My God... How will you, my former fellow citizens, bear the burden of all your crimes when you finally realize the magnitude of the evil you have committed ... you screwed everything up Your life, the life of your children. The respect of the rest of the world. your future. All the wealth that God has given you, you have spent on murder and destruction. And nothing to improve your life.
So that it becomes more beautiful, more substantial, more interesting. No. Everything was dedicated to the idea of revenge and expansion. Desiring to escape the onerous tutelage of the West with its endless demands for human rights, you have decided that free sailing is possible. But the sad truth is that by turning away from the West you have placed yourself in the clutches of China. And you have yet to find out what it's like to be caught in the clutches of China. Russia is too small to play an independent role. It cannot be a power center. And the Russians have yet to make that sad discovery. The forty-five years I spent in Russia certainly shaped me to a great extent as a person. There have been many good things in those years. Probably even more than bad ones. And to thank you for that, I want to tell you Russians that I still love you. And I feel sorry for you. And I ask you: Listen to me, not to Putin. For God's sake, listen to what I have to say. Russia is a small, moderately developed country with poor infrastructure and an archaic economy. Most people in Russia are poorly educated and, with few exceptions, poorly qualified.
