Interesting, Gazprom has history of blowing gas pipe lines when it becomes burden on their profits. They fckd Turkmenistan badly in 2009

MOSCOW/ASHGABAT (Reuters) - Turkmenistan threatened to take Russia to court over last month’s gas pipeline explosion, RIA news agency reported, escalating a dispute that has severed a vital energy link through Russia to Europe.

Turkmenistan blames Russia for blowing up the pipeline, which carries more than half of its most valuable export, by cutting the gas flows without enough warning.

“When you shut off the flows, you get what is called a vacuum-bomb effect,” Odek Odekov, head of Turkmen state geological institute Turkmengeologia, told reporters during an energy conference in Paris, RIA reported.

“The system has to be prepared for a shut-off three days in advance, and Russia did it in the course of one day,” he said.
.........................

Odekov said Turkmenistan has been forced to shut off 195 gas production fields as 92 percent of its exports to Russia remained suspended, Platts news agency reported. The rest is flowing through another link via Kazakhstan to Russia.
....................

Every month, Turkmenistan is therefore losing between $800 million and $1 billion per month in export revenues, said Mikhail Korchemkin, director of East European Gas Analysis. “Turkmenistan has every right to demand this money,” he said.

Korchemkin estimated that Gazprom is getting an additional $330-450 million per month in net profits out of this situation, while the Russian budget is getting an extra $300-400 million in customs duties.

Putin says Americans continue to ‘occupy’ Germany

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said Germany’s response to the explosion of the North Sea pipelines showed the country remained “occupied” and unable to act independently, decades after its surrender at the end of World War II.
Western countries, including Germany, have reacted cautiously to investigations into the blasts that hit Russia’s Nord Stream gas pipelines last year, saying they believed them to be a deliberate act but declining to say who they thought was responsible.
“The matter is that European politicians have said themselves publicly that after World War II, Germany was never a fully sovereign state,” Russian news agencies quoted Putin as telling the state Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“The Soviet Union at one point withdrew its forces and ended what amounted to an occupation of the country. But that, as is well known, was not the case with the Americans. They continue to occupy Germany.”

What is a MQ-9 Reaper drone?

The MQ-9 Reaper drone is a large, unmanned US Air Force aircraft remotely operated by a two-person team.
It includes a ground control station and satellite equipment and has a 66-foot (20-meter) wingspan.
Used routinely during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars for surveillance and air attacks, the Reaper can be either armed or unarmed.
It can carry up to eight laser-guided missiles, including Hellfire missiles and other sophisticated munitions, and can loiter over targets for about 24 hours.

It is about 11 metres (36 feet) long, 3.6 metres (12 feet) high and weighs about 12,200 kg (4,900 pounds). It can fly at an altitude of up to 15 km (50,000 feet) and has a range of about 2,500 km (1,400 nautical miles).
The Reaper’s operations team includes a rated pilot responsible for flying the aircraft and an enlisted aircrew member charged with operating the sensors and guiding weapons.
The Reaper, which first began operating in 2007, replaced the US Air Force’s smaller Predator drones. Each Reaper costs about $32 million.

Remember when experts on MYBB last year were banging on about how Russia's actions in Ukraine had alienated it from China? I recall a silly meme of a disgusted Xi rejecting a Putin caricature dripping in blood.

The reality is Russia and China are now closer than at any time in their history and are teaming up to end American Empire, de-dollarization etc.

I am skeptical .. Where would Russia find 400k people prepared to die for the Czar?

The Russian Defence Ministry will start new recruitment of professional soldiers to the Russian army from 1 April, their aim being to add 400,000 new recruits to the army.

Source: Russian Radio Svoboda

Details: As Radio Svoboda reported, the Russian Defence Ministry has sent documents to the regions indicating the number of people with whom contracts should be signed.

Radio Svoboda noticed that several Russian regional media outlets immediately published the total number of contract service personnel needed to replenish the Russian army. It was noted that Russia planned to recruit 400,000 such soldiers.

Radio Svoboda indicated that the main part of the work will be carried out by military enlistment offices, and governors will be responsible for the implementation of the plan.

It was also reported that 10,000 people should be recruited for professional service in Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk oblasts of the Russian Federation, and 9,000 more in the Perm Krai.

Western elites are well on their way to lose all credibility. At this rate only demented boomers will trust the mainstream narratives. When the average Westerner wakes up to how badly they have been screwed over by their elites we can expect some French Revolution-type of reaction.

Do you think Russia & China will conquer USA soon? I was planning to go there next year but now I am not so certain as I don't know if I will need Russian visa to enter USA.

For anyone interested about the works of FSB in Ukraine... The real coup organizers in Ukraine 2013-2014

"Yakuza" is the word that Russian personnel in the occupied city of Berdiansk use for representatives of the FSB, adding, "We are the force, and they are the brain".

Recruiting agents, murders, terrorist attacks, cyberattacks, putting proxies in senior positions within the occupying authorities, suppressing pro-Ukrainian sentiment – this is the work of Russia’s Federal Security Service (the FSB) in Ukraine. Or, to be more precise, the work of several "Ukrainian" units, as the secret servicemen refer to them among themselves.
They infiltrated our country's most secure state structures, with agents among law enforcement officers, priests, members of parliament, and ordinary citizens ready to betray Ukraine's interests.
This story describes the role that Russia’s most covert security structure has played in the war against our country.

I see MYBB hero Miss Lindsey is butthurt about the USA's drone that the Russians took out over the Black Sea

I am glad Russia is finally getting bolder in dealing with US terrorism. They should blast any US drone, plane, or ship that comes within 100km of Russian territory.

How is Michael Tracey tweeting from beyond the grave?

How?

I mean he was violently murdered by an 80 year-old Maxine Waters all those years ago when she...

/checks notes...

brushed by him.

China is one of the reasons the Russians have shut up about their nuclear threats.

Those actions have alienated the Chinese because China would have liked Russia to win this war quickly instead China has to bail Russia out. America has strengthened her position because of this war and not vice versa. A stronger US position in the world is a negative for China. The whole anti-US thing is a long standing thing and the war in Ukraine is not a cause but a symptom of that.
