LOL. The irony is that no-one needs a weapons expert. The debt writing is on the wall. You are free to continue to know F all about weapons
Huge percetage of that money provides employment for Americans. It doesn't leave American shores.

I wouldn't every pay attention to what Tucker says, even if it involves politics.

Do you honestly think that your average American is signing up to pay off $34 trillion in debt and $1 trillion purely in interest on that debt to fund mined minerals and "products" that will be blown up in Eastern Europe, never to be seen again, with no discernible change in outcome? The "employment" is fully funded by debt issued to taxpayers.

90% of the Ukraine aid is spent in the USA, at the last accounting.

Old munitions and equipment go east, new munitions and equipment to put back into the US stockpile are ordered from US manufacturers.

For there to ever be "peace talks" or "negotiations" between Russia and Ukraine, here are the Russians telling the world their MINIMUM requirements before they would ever consider stopping this war: They want to be given the cities of ~ Zaporizhzhia = 740,000 people Kherson = 280,000 people Mykolaiv = 480,000 people Odesa = 990,000 people Moldova = 2,600,000 people

Of course there is a change in outcome. The Yanks have pushed Russia out of Europe. Germany was deep inside Russia's arse and now it may very well be that things have done a 180. The Yanks have managed to get their mojo back with Finland and Sweden in NATO and Polish US arms contracts alone worth billions of dollars and other countries, such as Romania also making offers to buy US weapons. This war also weakens Russia and has shown the Chinese that the US is capable of rallying a coalition to oppose them which has got Xi p1ssing his pants and calling truce with Biden. The Yanks don't want to win this war, because they don't want the Russians to collapse completely, they still want the Ruskis to keep security in the east among all the -stans and to not become too much of a Chinese b1tch.

Part of US wealth lies in its hegemony, in Bretton-Woods. Russia had almost succeeded in pushing the Americans out of Europe, everyone was talking about NATO being pointless and the Germans with their Russian hydrocarbons were able to profit and make good deals with China which obviously wants to usurp America's place in the world. Russia and China are allies have been against America, both working to weaken it. Americans' livelihood depends on the US dollar and its dominant position in the world as guarantor of safe trade and economic dealings among countries. This has been chipped away constantly by the Chinese. America is giving peanuts to Ukraine and in exchange getting more customers in Europe and abroad and preventing war with China. The investments Americans make, as pointed out, also benefit their own industry and blue collar workforce. The only people not happy are the manufacturers who outsource to China and those financial companies which would like to sell more insurance and banking products to the Chinese and for someone who seems to support the blue collar salt of the land Americans and their children with all this debt, you seem to really be supporting here, because a peace with Russia on Russian terms will give a boost to the Chinese. And this started not with America but with Russo-China causing trouble first, being the first to assert their undeserved dominance and their imperialism.
