Was hoping the guy on Pro-Russian telegram was a noob. But the actually went through the effort of removing the date from the metadata of the video. (Their proof of the prison attack)

Surprise surprise, Nicobotsky posts more Russian simp propaganda

Yeah well. Even Occam's razor is against Russia's typical argument whenever their atrocities comes up.
The story from Russia is always: "provocation", "provocation", fascist [sic], harming their own (people, infrastructure, cultural heritage, etc... etc...) just to make Russia look bad. This while Ukraine doesn't have to do anything to make Russia look bad. Russia is making itself look plenty bad.

Let's see.... Russia wants people to believe Ukraine be like: "Look a Russian soldier/merc recently castrated a Ukrainian prisoner of war! We need to stage a provocation to make Russia look bad. Urgently!"
Pull the other one!

Even with Bucha. Russia had just illegally invaded a neighbouring country. Going straight for the capitol in what can only be called Blitzkrieg emulating tactics. Spouting massive anti-Ukrainian rhetoric all the way (much of it extremely derogatory). An act that was widely lambasted by most countries in the world. But Russia is saying the world must suspend it's sense of disbelief, because they say that Ukraine needed to make Russia look bad.

Oh but when Russia can't deny that it practically flattened a city like Mariupol, undoubtedly killing many, many Ukrainians in the process, and even stealing children from there and the surrounding areas afterwards... Openly. Even publicly bragging about it afterwards. Oh but then Russia falls back to hard-line arguments... "What eez problem? City was always ours. Ukraine is not a real country. We take it for ourselves. We will rebuild Mariupol with nice propaganda vans blaring in the background. Children are ours now - What you western scum do about it? Why you hate Russia so much? So what if troops loot and rape a bit? That is just what soldiers do. Be careful we don't come do it to you. Or sink some islands with Nuclear weapons. Really... West should not stick it's business in our affairs. We just want to genocidally eradicate this country and culture. They are standing in the way of our land corridor to Crimea... No Moldova... Let's see where it goes."

Of course the Russian el presidente didn't miss the opportunity to try and blackmail the west with: "Atrocity in Ukraine will continue if sanctions not lifted".

Ukraine... Doesn't need to do a thing to make Russia look bad. Nada. Ziltch.

100%

Again in Putins drivel writings and certainly reading through quite a bit of socialist and Marxist stuff ............ the West, US, Nato <insert baddy de jour here>, all of these are responsible for whatever ills Putin felt his Russia had.
(See @Solarion #8293 - asks just this question - its a good question to ask.)

The fact remains - it was his decision to go to war.

At best, those supporting him can only but dredge up a myriad of reasons for doing so, but none of this will bring a better future for Russia.

If, as the RU support base would have us believe, the UA was THAT bad - why didn't the bulk of UA people simply allow themselves to be freed by the RU forces?
Why did so many countries vote to expel RU from the human rights council? Reminder 96 for, 24 against 58 abstentions. Even the abstentions and against votes combined don't tally to 96. Is most of the world wrong?
Why didn't Finland and Sweden join NATO earlier if the UA was such a big threat?
Why did so many oligarchs get away from RU as soon as possible?
What did Putin expect was going to happen, in 2021 they (RU) were something like the 5th largest economy in the EU region. That should have been a source of pride for Russia.
When RU did invade, why did they initially attack the western part of UA then pull back?
Why did they take Snake Island then pull out?
Why does RU detest freedom? To quote Vladislav Surkov “An overdose of freedom is lethal to a state,”
Why has Russia had one man at the helm for so long?
If the UA economy was so poor prior to war, what made Russia think they were going to be a threat?
What made Russia believe NATO was expanding - only to attack Russia? Hell, the NATO member countries were investing in Russia.
Why does Lavrov or Peskov feel the need to justify the war, if its the right thing to do?

I also think passions get in the way of common sense - sometimes, people are so passionate about RU winning or UA winning - and want to press their reasons for this belief, that we forget, nobody is winning right now. Least of all RU and UA.

Again, I dont particularly want to get into a debate on this ......... these are just the thoughts that are in my mind.

I firmly believe that all the people who are involved in a murder, genocide, torture and so on propaganda, should be judged equally for this crimes.

Same way as the guiltiest one is Putin , because he tells and sends people to do crimes, so are his diplomats and other propagandists. I hope I will live long enough to see them rot in Siberian jail.

"Read this when they tell you Russia must not be isolated.

There is no difference between Russian diplomats calling for the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war and Russian troops doing it in Olenivka.

They are all ACCOMPLICES in these war crimes and must be held accountable," Nikolenko wrote.
