Agreed, if Russia's military was even half as competent as the US, then the war would have been over by now with a lot less casualties and damage.

Unless it's in jungles or mountains, then 20 years seems to be their average. Guess we're looking at another 5 years or so if you are going on other US wars.

Oh my you nitpicker. Japan is part of the West and much of the tech, is North American. The IP is shared.

Sony PlayStation is run from America. The software is Western, for example Unreal Engine is American.

The tech is Western which includes Taiwan, South Korea and Japan. You do know they're part of the West, don't you? AMD is Canadian/American. The memory is produced by Korean, TW and Japanese companies. Many of the sub components are also Western. The assembly may be in China and some components may be Chinese.

The machines used to produce complicated microprocessors are Western.



Android is owned by Google a US company.

You nitpick too much which shows me that either you don't want to concede or you don't understand what's said to you.

I think the last sentence applies, but not as intended. The SuperMico issue further highlights the actual control and knowledge US companies have over what happens. We also only have to think of companies such as FoxConn with all the know-how, while building their own stuff, also acting as a manufacturer for many other big brand names. We all know China does not really respect IP, superficially yes but not in reality, so trying to now close that barn door is too late.

you can post it a million times, it doesn't change the fact that Russia has more than enough gas and significantly more than Ukraine, and Ukraine does not have enough to compete

it also doesn't change the fact that Russia has been warning Ukraine and the west repeatedly for more than 8 years it will not tolerate a military threat on its border

The US and Europe can buy from anybody if they are willing to pay the price. Russia can only sell to people willing to buy so it is in their best interest to eliminate competition namely Ukraine.
