That's not necessarily true.
Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Egypt, Afghanistan and Lybia (not ME) , how many examples do you need that the alternative is an even bigger thug?
Middle East has a different approach to democracy. But it's not a given that democracy can't occur there.
the approach is that there is no approach at all and that the nation building project failed there.
The country could always be partitioned though.
I wouldn't mind that to be honest.
Then make it official. Russia is supporting a dinosaur.
Turkey is just as big an obstacle, they would never allow it for it would trigger secessionism in their eastern province.
Ukraine is petty homogenous. You could argue there are some people who are more Russia leaning but otherwise it would not become this factional.
Voting results suggest that they are quite divided.
Russia is stirring the pot and causing kuk. If Russia was honest here, Russia would allow UN peackeepers and would not be supporting rebels or arming them with tanks.
The US stirred the kak here with their endless coloured revolutions and coup d'états, there was no reason to expand NATO or Democracy,
stay out and let the guys sort themselves out.
Now Russia is putting millions at greater risk of famine through blocking Ukraine.
If Ukraine is forced to negotiate tomorrow this can all end. Give Russia Crimea and the Dombas, both don't want to be part of Ukraine anyways and we can end world hunger and overt another nuclear war. Sounds like a terrific deal to me. The alternative is to starve ourselves for an unimportant country.
And Ukrainians would be starving themselves it's only because their neighbours took 6 million of them and they're getting constant humanitarian support that the situation is not like in Syria where not all Syria's neighbours are as fraternal or supportive.
Turkey and Iran took in a lot of refugees.

Iraq is at least not invading their neighbours and has a crack at some sort of more democratic goverment. ISIS and other groups can be stopped by cutting off funding. No money, no terrorism.

Nope. Ukrainians worked in places like Poland, Czechia etc and saw that from a second world country, less Russian Mir can give you brilliant results. They're also independent minded.

If Ukraine is forced to negotiate tomorrow this can all end.

Russia should be forced to negotiate. Russia is a threat to peace. I say this not because I insist Ukrainians fight, personally for me it's better they fight than my relatives have to fight and yours. But I don't think they should be forced to do anything, ie fight or not fight. It's up to them. And as you know, if you took a cursory look into the history of the region you'd see many rebellions and insurrections. You can't put people down.

Look many people will simply not let Russia dominate them.

You will get a WW3 unless Russia is stopped. I already told you that Beck converted Hitler's little genocide war into a wider European and even global war. Europe will have to take this nut on as a whole.

Turkey and Iran took in a lot of refugees.

And not enough it looks like it.

@Nicodeamus Are you a paid Russian propagandists?
You links you post is of Russian propagandists following other Russian propagandists. I'm starting to get suspicious. Your following the script basically.
Same can be said of all the pro Ukrainian posters on here with their western propaganda and won't even mention the few that started posting twitter feeds from Ukraine months ago about how they are winning the war.

Just imagine if Russia could carefully monitor the use of their own weapons... like the ones shooting at passenger planes

Russia to ‘carefully record’ Ukraine’s use of Western weapons: Spokesman

The Kremlin spokesman has said that Russia’s defence ministry is carefully recording each use of weapons provided by the US to Ukraine to ensure they aren’t being used to strike inside Russia, state media channel RT has reported.

“We carefully record all episodes of the use of these weapons,” Dmitry Peskov said. “So, if any of these weapons reach the front lines and are not destroyed by our military, we will track how they are being used.”

2/4 People dismissed for corruption, convicted persons, and former representatives of law enforcement agencies mostly agree to the collaboration "They conduct their activities as bandits, stealing things where it’s possible. Fake authority - fake money", - says Oleksandr Starukh
