S-Video adapter for new Macbook pro's

Is there an Apple S-Video adapter for the new MacBook Pro's?

I had the previous S-Video to DVI Adapter, and I have the miniDisplay port to DVI adapter. But the S-Video to DVI adapter does not fit into the DVI-to miniDisplay port adapter. It has some extra pins in the DVI part.

Simply Mac in Brooklyn has one on order for me (MiniDisplay port to S-Video), should be arriving soon. They also have a few stores in JHB. It's about R700. Not sure where you are, but I have decided I don't want it, so you are welcome...

I must admit though I have searched everywhere for one of these, can't even find evidence that one exists. But somehow this store said they exist and have ordered one for me. :confused:

I have a hunch they have mixed it up with a Mini-DVI adaptor not miniDisplay


[regarding mini-DVI] In October 2008, Apple announced the company was phasing it out in favor of MiniDisplay Port
