No, but the UCT admissions policy requires the white med students to have higher marks in matric than the black students for admission.

Funny thing is that 2 students I know that are at UCT did well in matric. One got 4 A's and is doing BCom and the other got 5 or 6 A's and is doing stats or actuarial science. Both are girls btw

Somehow the primary school close to where I live has more white teachers than black. 2 I see regularly in the mornings are quite young. Tell me no government school has young white teachers and I'll tell you that's BS.

No for medical school they have 8 As for other health disciplines they have 6 or more.

Come on Cosmik. Come on. Why do you think there were laws preventing people from moving to urban areas? Had such laws not existed, we would have ended up with slums like we have today. That's why those with no purpose were banished to the homelands. Look at the rest of Africa to see the point I'm raising. Many had no segregation laws and their cities were surrounded by slums.

Many African countries secretly admired the pass laws to prevent slums being established. And the pass laws only started in the mid 20th century and ended 40 years later.

Depends. Employment in the shack, none in the mud hut. Subsistence farming with droughts and floods in the mud hut vs supermarkets in the shack. Plenty more you can think of.
