Are you seriously trying to split hairs about obviously racist policies and laws based on skin colour are wrong, amoral and unprincipled right? It reminds me of the Nats when there were amusing (for some) discussions around Chinese and maybe some other people who weren't clear cut white or black (Coloured and Indian - all apartheid classifications lol). Some Chinese (from recollection) became "honorary whites" but not quite white (maybe a bit like Coloureds and Indians now).

Taking the title at face value shows to me that whites and blacks actually in reality (not with SA's racist blinkers on) think pretty much the same. SA ain't looking too bright, elsewhere looks better. As do some from the EC heading for CT and maybe Jhb. I think voting for someone with a better track record at governance that the corrupt and incompetent ANC is worth a try but that is just me.
I was just explaining my understanding of the rationale behind AA and also pointing out the flaws in your argument.

If you think it’s okay to look down on people s qualifications because of their skin colour then don’t be surprised when the country still vote according to racial lines. Those who want to emigrate and it’s up to the other countries to decide if the guys are valuable to them or not. Not you and I

Leaving in January 2023. Thanks for everything RSA, we weren't wanted here as certain parties keep on telling us.
Not black though...just part of the brain drain.

You'll find the grass on the other side may look greener, but tastes the same.

It's a pity to see these people leaving our shores.
They are the very same who can provide real life motivation for our youth to put in effort and succeed in their chosen career paths.
Unfortunately, while our education system is stuck in the 70s coupled with lower standards (for political expediency), we are stuck, like hamsters in a wheel.

Ah yes the word is quintile

Ah yes the word is quintile for the school ratings thanks for that.
I'm curious as to end of 1st yr exam reports - are those with lower entry requirements managing to get through?

So, you didn't even read...
I read about unicorns and mermaids. It does not mean they exist.

I read about many laws obviously meant to protect us, yet the implementation sucks. We call it South Africa.

Suffering from the same disease as @wingnut771

Let me help.
False claims and attributions
but are happy with them.
This was a response to my "I don't make laws" post. I'm not a supporter of political parties. I understand why certain laws exist in their current form, and why a different political party might amend them in future.
You should stop being so cryptic then.
Where was I cryptic, especially with regards to the subtopic under discussion?

So, let me bring you to the attention of something I highlighted above.
The laws were meant to prop up previously disadvantaged people. However, politicians always find non-creative ways to exploit them to their advantage.
Poor implementation, whether deliberate or not.
