Yeah, but as I said, do give it time, one day it will also be in the past and moaning about it will be out of fashion.

So why didn't the ANC just give apartheid a chance as it would be in the past one day and moaning about it would have been out of fashion?

True, you will find that many people in our country, not just white people have a problem with how BEE is being implemented, but some have their own agendas as we have seen here, you are allowed to judge any successful black person based purely on your perception of how you think they became successful.

You are also allowed to look sideways at any black person who is in any profession based purely on your perception of how he benefited from AA, of course nothing has to be based on facts, because BEE/AA makes it impossible.

No black person in SA can claim to have got a job or sports team position on merit because of AA. The unforeseen consequence of social engineering.

Over 40 years of apartheid plus more years of British subjugation and things weren't getting any better for a certain portion of the population.

A certain portion of the white population had the British defeat them in war and were subjugated as well.

Between 1910 and 1948, laws were enacted that served to oppress and further isolate non-whites. Black workers earned 1/10 of their white counterparts by law. Non-whites were prevented from entering certain trades by law. Most non-whites were disenfranchised...by law. Some non-whites were banished from accessing certain areas...by law.

Now, tell me how many of those laws were against a certain portion of whites.

Before someone get overzealous and attacks, no this is not a blame post.

They have no proof of their claim that they got the job on merit because the law prescribes who gets the job.
Disingenuous.

Appointments can be influenced by many things, including age, personality, language skills, etc.

Some great comedic relief. But let's get back to it.

In response to this:
Are you?

The ANC took over SA, a well governed country, and destroyed it.

The ANC and its voters are 100% collectively responsible for SA's current state. Those voters are all "colours", but obviously many black.

Take responsibility.

You responded with this:

Are you trying to "humorously" deny, or oppose the argument? What would your counter-argument be?

Come on, this is SA. Black skin counts the most.
Largely where politicians have control but that's not to say everyone of them got jobs through nepotism.

Also, what are all the white graduates doing in industry? Are you telling me there are no whites under Eskom bursary schemes?
