As a chief executive, he had the power to stop the rot but instead, he subverted the systems and institutions to enable corruption by his cronies and those attached to them; including politicians and "big business". There was collective support because there was mutual benefit. Eskom, SARS, SAA, SABC suffered as a result.
So Ramaphosa is just a yellowbelly then, too weak to stand on his own chief executivity without the collective & specially Mrs Zol sitting on his head in a collective fashion?

Yebo, just a glorified WMC puppet who was gifted the Presidency of the great liberation movement by his masters against the wishes of the branches.

There's no quick cure for this corruption hangover.
The half of this which will maybe be used for something useful, half if we're lucky after corruption and Zuma taxes, won't come close to what is needed.
$10bn could fall out of the sky tomorrow, and it would hardly make a difference.

So happy they get rewarded for all the hard work they have put in and giving all South Africans a bright future. Can't think of anyone deserving such an awesome gift tax payers will burden for years to come, with a happy smile.

These communists are playing a dangerous game with the economy of SA.

When average Joe starts to hedge against the Rand by taking his money offshore or into crypto, it's only the poor, misinformed people that will face the consequences of China's plans for State Capture 2.0

This explains why the rand was strengthening, wonder what the exchange rate will be when we have to repay this...

Sadly, under the conditions we are in this is probably much-needed, however, this seems reckless as our conditions are our own making. What is our repayment options?

All I see is in kind. Transactional sex where the ordinary citizen must bend over.

There are no new terms, being part of BRICS allows you to take up to $2 billion per year in loans as a member.

Edit: I should clarify this is part of the emergency loan agreement from last year but i see your further posts note that already.

What are the current terms?

This country is debt-stricken, unemployed and emotionally vulnerable. A disaster state in disaster response, all whilst equity is promoted.
