It's not about the legality. It's about the fact that these people can't seem to grasp that someday they might not work for the government anymore. How are they going to do password recovery etc?

These same people that can't seem to think for the future also handle my tax monies. That's what makes me very sad.

The other issue is if you register on these sites you probably register for the purpose of paying. Who's credit card details are the government employees using?
