As someone who joined Immortal Chaos as a complete 'noob' who was too fearful to run keys above +7 and who had wiped on normal KJ more than a dozen times, I can say this guild helped me grow as a player. They help those who take the initiative to improve, who are willing to learn and take constructive criticism. Do they expect you to figure out the basics for yourself? Absolutely, but I think if you aim to do content to the level that some people in this guild does, that is not an unfair expectation. Point is this 'noob' player has now done mythic raiding and some semi-decently high keys.

As for toxic comments being made, I can honestly say context matters. Some of these guys have been playing together for years and have a unique way of enjoying a bit of banter between themselves. No harm in that as far as I can tell. Personalities differ and no one will get along with every single member of their guild, no guild can claim that, but we are all adults and still manage to raid together peacefully. I guess my point with this is that there is a place for everyone in this guild if they take the time to get to know people and put at least a basic amount of work into their character.

So yeah, I feel sorry for this guy that he couldn't find a place with us, but instead of making comments on the internet about it he could have spoken to one of the officers to sort it out.

Hope everyone is doing well.. I have been a member of this Guild since about 3 months before BFA.. A personal friend of mine recommended that I join them because of the vibe and awesome experience he got from them.. And he is very picky over his Guilds.. I'm sure he would never have joined if your accusation was the case..

Furthermore, I take suicide very seriously because of reasons.. I know it was more of a "death threat" like you described but the context of it states that someone basically told someone else to kill themselves.. So no, it was not really a death threat..

I am 100% certain that if the above REALLY happened the only person who would act the way you did would be me (at least not on a public forum but I would definitely let all of the current members know that I am highly upset, then leave).. And I'm still here with this amazing Guild.. You know why? Because you are a liar.. Not just to me, that doesn't matter, but to the community as well..

This Guild for me is a family away from family.. They make me laugh.. They help me when I ask for it.. They are my escape.. So if anyone said what you described I would say that it was you.. You told someone to drink some Jik because you didn't get what you wanted because you wanted to be spoon fed with to dedication and commitment..

Even if I get kicked out of the 2nd Raid Team due to lack of commitment or whatever, the best part of this Guild is not the raiding.. It's being able to mute your mic in Discord and just listen to them.. Listen to them for long enough and you won't go a day without being excited for next day's laughs and ****..

I have been with Immortal Chaos for almost a year now. It has been a great experience getting to know the veterans there, and I've even made new friendships there as well. As time passed and I got to spend more time with the guild, I've found myself more to be part of a second family with these bunch of misfits. Sure, we banter and make jokes, but who are we to judge if not ourselves?

The time I have with this guild has been the most fun I had playing WoW in all my years of raiding and doing dungeons with pugs. They are family now. And I would not trade them otherwise.

So the top part seems like banter, how about the jik part? There were 45 people online that night including officers who didn't even respond to this. And before you try deny it again I did ask this Knaterwater guy if he knows the other dude and his response was "No".

As for staying anonymous, that is 100% going to stay that way as i have seen 1st hand also how some guild members attack people's personal lives on FB so not keen on that.

But if it makes you feel better this will be my last post, all I'm saying is rather level a char in this guild 1st before you transfer as you might just regret it. "Drops MIC"

I am taking offence to this person now. I have now asked my entire guild in discord to react to this message and they all seem to be shocked to hear of this and nobody knows where this is coming from. We as a guild and the officers in this guild work our butts off to promote and improve the guild. This is now becoming pathetic and I feel like this person is just trying to tarnish our name.

I am one of the Head Officers of Immortal Chaos and this person is destroying a reputable name with his fake news. So from now on, I will not take anything he says seriously without proof.

I am also an Officer in Immortal Chaos on The Maelstrom. I think we can all agree taking statements out of context and using them in a way that does not portray the way it was intended like posting it in a forum is not cool. If the "Jik" thing was directed at someone with malicious intent it will be handled accordingly. Unfortunately WordtotheWise likes to be anonymous and will not come out and help us address any issues. So please, I implore anyone to take things with a pinch of salt said about this guild as there are petty people trying to smear the name of the best and most welcoming South African guild. We are a great bunch of guys and girls from all walks of life. We all come together and work through any problems we may have and to achieve our goals. We are in a good spot with raiding at the moment with 3 raid teams. I invite anyone to come see how we operate. If it's not for you or someone is extremely rude towards you without the officer's dealing with it then you are welcome to leave or not join.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the true colours come out. You are pathetic... Those guys are joking with each other and are even in the same Discord channels. Please stop being a coward and just leave the guild. You are of no value to us or the community and I would also hide who I am if I was you. All the people in that message are joking with each other, anyone who doesn't believe me is MORE than welcome to come ask them.

We had 49 people online 20 in one team and 20 in an another. Then we had people doing normal Mythics and M+ on discord.

We are SUCH a toxic guild, I mean at the rate we grow we are the most toxic guild ever... Guild Members HATE us.
Err wait... That's not how it works? We are an amazing guild because we keep growing and each member who brings value to the table has never been turned away, however the people who expect free rides tend to become salty, needy and well they become @WordtotheWise

So please keep going... My guild members came and shared some really deep stuff to prove how awesome Immortal Chaos is and you just spat in their faces. So you dear idiot can go and have a lonely life but we in Immortal Chaos are not going anywhere and anyone who needs a home and wants to feel part of a family. Please let me know we are on Facebook so you can contact us there. If you believe what this person has to say then well you won't fit in with us anyway.

Thank you @WordtotheWise we will use this thread as a filter to keep people who expect free rides and boosts out, cause each and every member in the guild works their butts off to earn what they get and I am SUPER proud of our guild.

This thread is for a list of current sa guilds, not for drama...... start a new thread if thats really want you want to do. Otherwise just join a new guild there are many good guilds out there. I prefer eu guilds over sa guilds.

Awesome, are you still on Stormrage? I saw Errew in legion but doesn't look like she has logged in since then. There is a Tinkerbellza on Lightbringer EU but i'm not sure if it's the same person.

Popped on the forums earlier. WoW going through it's usual motions. Massive influx of old players during new expansion. Play for several weeks. Take to the forum complaining that the game sucks and it's dying (never mind the fact that they keep paying for and coming back to every new expansion only to inevitably take to the forums to vent...again)

Teldrassil was always my favorite zone. Sometimes would just log in to create a toon and quest there a bit. Is it still the same or has Blizzard wiped Teldrassil from existence or what?

I don't think that's an entirely fair statement to make. Drama happens in most communities, unless you are part of those guilds where no one ever talks and you are just another number. I've experienced far worse guild destroying drama and toxicity in international guilds than local.

Also you realize how much DST sucks when you only get to bed between 1 and 2am after a midweek raid.
