What I'm telling you is the VAT one cadre pays for a new Merc every other year is more than the VAT paid by an entire family living in a shack per annum.

Not sure how else to explain fractions and relativity to you.

EDIT: are spaza shops VAT registered vendors?

Now that is a question worth asking...
Do VAT vendors pay VAT? Aren't they claiming it back?

They claim it back and then charge VAT that is paid.
They pay vat on their input costs, charge vat on their sales, and then pay the taxman the difference. Ie, they pay tax on the value they add to the goods during their activity. Hence, value added tax.

The irony. A lot of the talent that BEE managed to produce are also taking their skills with them in search of greener pastures.
Nope, no irony. Of the people who have left and are planning to, we all know it's around 80% - 90% white people who have left and want to leave. South Africa will be much darker in every sense.

There's an equal number of black middle and higher class than white wanting to leave this shithole. South Africa will be both much darker and much poorer in coming years.

The difference being that black people are not being oppressed and subsequently chased away, like what they're essentially doing with white people. It's literally the best time to be a black person in SA. Everything is in their favour. Why would they want to leave?

People are not leaving because they are being oppressed or chased away.
People are leaving for better opportunity or a more certain future.

The one leads to the other, duh.

Go have a nice read on Twitter and see how many people feel they are being forced out of this country due to racist policies.

Not at all.
OK boomer. Continue living in your bubble. White South Africans are gatvol of corruption and racist policies, that they are forced to move abroad for better opportunities. Very few can afford to that. Racism is oppression. The only reason more haven't left is because they can't afford to.

I've said enough.

You're not forced to move for better opportunities. You choose to move for better opportunity.

You're FORCED to move when your life or livelihood is in danger.

It's arguable that livelihood is under threat at the moment though.

It’s like saying: The plane is going down, but why would they want a parachute when they’re in first class?

Somewhere along the line VAT was paid. Whether it's paid upfront by the suppliers or by the resellers the cost is accounted for in the sale price of all goods. If you spend money you are a taxpayer. If you want to talk about a group then you must say PAYE taxpayers are leaving the country or whatever.

Article is not only obviously referencing income tax but even states income tax payers in black and white. Pointless being so pedantic as you are only obfuscating an extremely serious problem which in reality even hits VAT revenue. As the economy declines and unemployment soars so too does VAT revenue decline.

Want to turn around the economic decline, then start by eradicating poverty.

Yeah and why don't people have opportunity and a certain future in SA.

This is how socialist fskup everything everywhere they go. They flee the problem they create just to go and create the same problems somewhere else.
