Twin girls aged three and their seven-year-old sibling have been found dead in a New Zealand town.

Their mother - a SA doctor - has been admitted to hospital, where she is in a stable condition, reports New Zealand media, quoting Det Insp Scott Anderson.

A homicide case is under investigation with police saying at a media conference they were speaking with people from the property and no-one else was wanted in connection with the incident.

The family had arrived in the country in late August and had only recently left a Covid-19 quarantine facility.

The details/particulars are rather sketchy.
It's possible that she did not do it.

Whoever did it deserves the Death Penalty.

So, they go and name the children who are minors, name the father and state his occupation, show a picture of the children and of the family, and then don't name the mother to protect her rights because that's how the law works.
How messed up is that, and how tragic it is for the father.

Hard to make out from the article but was this a murder/suicide case?

The News24 article says husband is a doctor, not sure if they are both doctors.

He's a surgeon.

NZ Herald link

I know a couple who moved to NZ from the UK. She was there a few weeks and went home. He stayed.

I just don't understand if there's a mistake or they are both doctors. Nothing is being said about the mother's occupation on the Times Live article.
