I'm sittin' on the top of Kilimanjaro
I can see a new tomorrow (oh follow me up)
I'm sittin' on the top of Kilimanjaro
I cast away all my sorrows (oh follow me up)
I'm sittin' on the top of Kilimanjaro
It thrills me right down to the marrow (oh follow me up)
I'm sittin' on the top of Kilimanjaro
I can see a new tomorrow
Um ho um

RIP Legend. I regret not going to the last concert in Cape Town hoping there would be another.

Why do celebs die in threes? It's freaky and weird. After Small, I said to myself, watch, another one is coming this week. And it did.

What's even weirder, wife made a comment the other day about people dying close to their birthdays. Now check that for some freaky **** :D

RIP to a great man.

On last night's The Money Show, Bruce Whitfield told the story about interviewing Jonny Clegg when he was already sick (about 16 min before the end, if you want to listen). He asked him why he's not taking it easy and retiring yet. Johnny responded "I can't afford to." Bruce asked "what do you mean?" And Johnny says "I pull a very long train" - thinking of those who depend on him first, even as he was losing the battle against cancer. What a man!

First song I heard of his was Great Heart in the Jock of the Bushveld movie in the 80s

Same here. We watched while on veldsklool somewhere near Sabie. When that song started playing at the end something stirred in me. Today, 30+ years later it hits me like an excited staffie whenever that song comes on.

In case any record company execs are reading: I'd be first in line if you release the full discography in SACD or better quality. I assume most of Savuka/Juluka's recordings were analog?
