Two of the worlds most advanced countries (Germany and Japan ) are advising us against Nuclear and yet our dum corrupt criminal politicians insist on taking us into massive dept that will haunt us long after Zuma and his croonies are out of power to build nuclear.Just for a couple million rand into their bank accounts.

This is getting out of hand now.If they insist on implementing nation destroying projects like this that can't be undone after their demise then it might just be time for our own spring tide.

the Nuclear Build Programme, which aims to bring on 9 600 MW of nuclear power by 2030, as well as gas-to-fire power generation.

Have a look at Gasland.

Fracking will cause irreversible damage to the Karoo and our country

This will open your eyes to how dangerous nuclear is..

The Fukushima crisis of 2011 was one of the two largest radiation disasters in recorded history, the other one being Chernobyl’s disaster in 1986. Despite constant reassurance from government and news agencies that we are safe and that radiation fallout is not life-threatening, Doctor John Apsley provides frightening and compelling evidence to the contrary.

It has been years since Fukushima’s disaster, but we are still experiencing consequences of that event. Through statistical data and photographic proof, Apsley shows us how the worst is not yet over. This presentation includes startling information about sudden spikes in infant death rates, birth defects, and other radiation-exposure symptoms. Are we really as safe and protected as the media wants us to believe?

So in the face of this crisis, what are we to do? We cannot just run away from disaster zones, we need to know how to equip and educate ourselves. Through preparedness we can fight the radiation crisis. Doctor Apsley provides practical ways to protect ourselves. Discover how to defeat radiation and what is truth and what is fiction.

Stop trolling. You seem to be posting the same post over and over again which is only loosely related to the topic.
Documentaries always present a skewed picture and need to be watched with care. Gasland has been shown to be a complete farce before.

Sound like a money making racket.

Anything with a Dr. in front of a name like "Doctor John Apsley" is usually a money making scam.

Just checked the link. I was right.

It happens. Especially when more than one MyBB window is open during a copy paste exercise.

That documentary has long ago been discredited.
There is nothing wrong with fracking if it is done right.
But there is little chance of it being done right in our SA context.

Seems to me that the evidence used to discredit Gasland is based on false claims and self interest.

You might want to read this

And have a look at this:

and ask yourself why this person, who appears multiple times in the documentary fracknation, goes throught all that effort to filter his water if there is no sign of contamination?

May it be that the compensation from the gas company outweights the effort and need for the gas company to filter his water?

Also the majority of interviews of farmers state that they are struggling financially and desperately need the additional income from the gas companies to survive.

Just seems strange to me, but then again, its probably better to have money and filtered water than selling the farm.

I don't have the time to do a background check on every interviewee, but i believe you'll probably uncover some interesting things.
