Oh no.... you do not get away that easily. He is right. His economy is in shambles. It must be integrated and soon too.
Must be?

You fervently want your "predictions" to come true, isn't it? So that you can stick it to the "dems" as they're called?

Why do I need to stick anything to the Communists Dems? They already took that thorn-riddled branch and stuck it right into their own a$$es and turned it sideways, in and out, the moment they voted themselves into power..... they should rather have left Trump in charge.

If wheat prices increase as they are currently we will have another revolution.
SA made good money of WW2. Our coal is already up, platinum will increase etc.

Russia produces a lot of commodities that we also have. So does Ukraine

So why get involved in a war when neutrality actually benefits us?
Nope, where was huge

Russia calls for integrating BRICS payment systems

April 9 (Reuters) - Russia, hit by Western sanctions, has called on the BRICS group of emerging economies to extend the use of national currencies and integrate payment systems, the finance ministry said on Saturday.

Sanctions have cut Russia off from the global financial system and from nearly half of its gold and foreign exchange reserves, which stood at $606.5 billion in early April.

On Friday, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told a ministerial meeting with BRICS, which consists of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, that the global economic situation had worsened substantially due to the sanctions, the ministry's statement said.

The new sanctions also destroy the foundation of the existing international monetary and financial system based on the U.S. dollar, Siluanov said.

"This pushes us to the need to speed up work in the following areas: the use of national currencies for export-import operations, the integration of payment systems and cards, our own financial messaging system and the creation of an independent BRICS rating agency," Siluanov said.

International payment cards Visa and MasterCard suspended operations in Russia in early March and Russia's biggest banks have lost access to the SWIFT global banking messaging system.

Russia set up its own banking messaging system, known as SPFS, as an alternative to SWIFT. Its own card payment system MIR began operating in 2015.

They were part of Moscow's efforts to develop homegrown financial tools to mirror Western ones, to protect the country in case penalties against Moscow were broadened.

The finance ministry said BRICS ministers have confirmed the importance of cooperation in efforts to stabilise the current economic situation.

"The current crisis is man-made, and the BRICS countries have all necessary tools to mitigate its consequences for their economies and the global economy as a whole," Siluanov said.

I would hate to see our country sanctions, but the West would want to maintain relations with the state. Compromising our position with entities like the IMF would only push us more towards having globally secluded relationships with the East. However, the West can woo the state by better endorsing its policies and agendas in an attempt to turn the tide.

The Ukrainian government and their allied Azov (neonazi) militias have bombed, mamed, raped and killed thousands of Russian speaking Ukrainians in the East of their country since 2014 and nobody in the West or media batted an eylid.

I have little sympathy for the Ukrainian regime and cry baby Zelenskyy and his demanding theatrics.

They got what was coming.
They were warned.

Need for ‘clear, unified’ response on Ukraine: Biden to Ramaphosa

The White House has released more details on the call between Biden and his South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa.

Biden reportedly initiated the call after South Africa abstained in the vote to suspend Russia from the Human Rights Council.

According to the statement, Biden stressed “the need for a clear, unified international response to Russian aggression in Ukraine” and emphasised the “global challenges” created by the invasion.

Ramaphosa said on Friday he had had a “productive” call with Biden. “We shared views on the conflict in Ukraine and agreed on the need for a ceasefire and dialogue between Russia and Ukraine,’ he wrote on Twitter.

South Africa was one of 58 countries that abstained in the vote on Russia.

Our lot need to weigh up the amount of yearly investment made by the USA compared to Russia, along with the number of USA companies that have a presence here and pay tax to them.

Not base it on the fact that the USSR gave them some weapons in the hope they'd also be proxies to spread Communism on the African continent. Sure, they used those weapons in the fight against a massively unjust system, but there would have been a quid pro quo from Russia.

He is currently the only American, in fact the only person in the world, that could have prevented everything happening today across the globe. Easy as that. There is no one else.
Everyone knows that's absolute tripe. Let's try another reason.

How can you say Ukraine is evil?
Before the war, Ukraine was one of the child molestation capitals of Europe, also immensely corrupt and shelling and killing civilians in the East. Also remember, that they wouldn't mind a single bit if you or your family were killed here, so why care about them?

All those people dying in those countries are dying as cannon-fodder for rich oligarchs on either side. The rich oligarchs in this country will have you do the same someday. Somehow the Rupperts, Oppenheimers, Kirch's, and Steyns of the country will convince you it's in your best interest to protect their property while they live with 50 bodyguards you can't afford.

Only in the sense that he would not have been supporting Ukraine and would have neutered NATO and Russia would have things their own way. Putin needs more Trumps in Europe if he wants to deal with NATO without lifting a finger - except the ones on his hackers' keyboards.
