Stop whining...

Men hating on men...so woke and fashionable nowadays.

Since women are 100% equal to men, why do they need this special treatment?

Wat utter BS and debunked many times.

Try 23% to take of that "week of hell"...

How convenient for them.

"My period is SO bad I have to take a week off work!!
"Here use this, it will make a huge difference"

"No!!!!"

Permanent PMS....
Are you ok?
You need to go see someone about all that hate. There is no shame in getting help.

Women with endometriosis have a very bad time. The pain can be incapacitating.

Having said that however, standard sick leave should apply. This is a dumb concept and will actually lead to an even greater gap in terms of women's pay. It will further reinforce the idea that women work shorter hours than our male counterparts.
My wife has bad endo and used to suffer very bad cramps. However, she would still go to work and take a pain pill when needed. Also, contraceptives help with endo as they prevent the excessive growth, her pain levels dropped significantly when she went on the right pill.

If you are a women and having such pains as to incapacitate you, go to a doctor.

And to those touting sick leave, a person only gets 1 day a month generated so that will be used very quickly and is really only for if you are actually sick.

I'm sorry about that. My mom also had endometriosis and it complicated her pregnancy with me. It's really not a trivial issue. :(

Women's rights were the opportunity to have the same prospects of men and to enjoy the same freedoms, not to get special treatment.

So why do they now need special treatment when they have their periods?

There is a reason women's categories still exist in many sports - they simply cannot compete with men due to biological differences.

This absolutely NOTHING to do with women's rights.

11% of females have endometriosis
One in 5 woman have Adenomyosis
Most woman will develop uterine fibrosis.

‘Normal’ is a very broad term for something most woman don’t have the luxury of having.

Not mentioning uterine and ovarian cancer
Pms
menopause.
Migraines
Too much estrogen
Too little
Too much progesterone
Too little
Testosterone problems
PID
PCOS
Thyroid health that impacts periods
The list is endless and many of these are worsened by just taking a ‘free pill’. Or injection.

In a country where most are reliant on public health it complicated the ‘care’ of these issues.

Woman have hormones that almost never ‘settles unlike testosterone
Its a far more complicated discussion than
‘normal’ periods

That said.
Its part of being born female.
Leave will not cure it. Education might.
Edit: and health care.
What does men get? Blue balls that can be solved by a ****.

Men have to put up with women and their problems.

Ag ou Wobbly...if facts = hate...I'll be just fine thanks.

Go drama queen somewhere else...you'll get no man-tears here to sooth your feelings.
Your opinions doesn’t = facts.
And the only one crying here are you.

Mansplaining periods.. yeah. That is going to win a debate.

"They"? Just because a handful of women ask for something(just like a handful of gay men asking for something) doesn't mean that an entire demography of individuals all want the same thing.

You were discussing equality, I was highlighting how different men and women are. A social biological difference is maternity leave, women cannot be at work while giving birth and caring for a child.

You seem to be confused? What exactly am I crying about? Nothing has happened to make me upset...and nothing will either.

Every "counter" post makes me lol actually.

On the other hand I see a lot of women and some "men" here, crying about all the agony women suffer once a month...and how they desperately need time off at home to convalesce.

Hopefully that clears it up for you? Or are you too emotional atm 'cos of the monthlies?

Why even entertain this silliness then?

You were trying to make some inane point, I was highlighting how they are not 100% in all things, but it's not fair to discriminate against them based on their biology. There is that broken filter between your brain and mouth again.

Because people are allowed to discuss anything they want Big Brother, we don't know if something is an issue until we talk about it.
