Not all of them will use it, just like some men go the extra mile with work, not every woman falls pregnant to get maternity leave.

Hard to work when the stomach is cramping ? Can't take office time sitting on the toilet half the day, if you lucky to have a nice staff toilet.

Can't fart in the office freely unless you want to be socially destroyed. The employees reputation will be destroyed and bullying might occur in the office.

It's a medical condition and these people are suffering. It's like they chained to their toilets. Some people work on the road and don't have access to clean toilets.

You can't expect them to keep taking medications just to be at work when all they need is a few days off to get past the IBS flare up. Have you read the side effects of those medications ? Some of them are antidepressants that aren't even approved for IBS.

There is no cure for IBS all they need is rest and time for the discomfort to settle.
