SA Payments / merchant info

I am trying to find out about the merchant services space in SA and the emergence of companies like YOCO?

-do banks (FNB/ STD) provide their own merchant services or are they all outsourced with companies like fastnet?
-do banks have smart pos functionality to offer
-who processes the payments in SA - eg. Worldpay in UK, FirstData/Vantiv in USA etc
