I think the problem is currently the DA is having communication problems with regards to its message. You and I know they are going to court, but how many DA supporters who glance at the news know this? At the moment there is a perception the DA is just going along for the ride, endorsing ANC-led bills. Also the ANC have got some of the DA public representatives to actually defend the Expropriation Bill which to some people sound like an endorsement of the legislation.

I think that is more social media noise than actual reality.

But its also a short lived thing, the narrative will be busted when the court case is lodged anyway. The DA just need to manage their messaging a bit better and even more tightly when it gets closer to the LGEs.

I think the communication here was not on point. I think it was rushed. There should have been a clear delineation between the DA being in government and trying to protect the interests of the public AND it being in agreement that the Bill is a complete joke and needs to be amended / revoked. I think these two things are true at the same time. As time goes on this will become clearer, but in the moment passions were high and the ideal messaging did not go out.
 
When your pigmentation is a negative for job employment - that's unacceptable! You should be hired with merit & competency as the ONLY prerequisites for consideration.

Applied for a job today, got told that I’m not an equity candidate so no interview will be offered. Got home and my daughter advised me that she didn’t get into any of the university courses she applied for because of her race. My son just called to let me know that he didn’t get that internship because they aren’t allocating any positions to white males. What on Earth would make anyone think that whites are under siege?!
