Didn't even realise he was on there. I see he was appointed by Zuma in 2017. So, now the EFF have a political rep in Malema and get bonus Mpofu. The whole JSC is too lacking in people who can ask questions around actual law matters.

Completely agree, the JSC has largely been hijacked for political ends rather than making sure the law is the primary focus.

So Maya gets the recommendation. It should actually be a prerequisite to filling a senior position that the EFF strongly opposes your appointment. If the EFF approves an appointment, they obviously know that person will be ineffective in dealing with their kak.
