SA Schools to be ‘50% black, 50% white’

I'm guessing what she is actually aiming for in some deluded misguided thought, to some extent, is to remove and replace learners from schools that are predominantly white with more black students. Logically though, what she is going to achieve is that in order to get a 50/50 balance there should be less black students being educated purely because of how skewered the general black/white population distribution is. So effectively the anc just converted their 30% pass rate to a 0% for a fair number of students.

Side note, we would have far less racial issues if people stopped talking about everything based on racial lines. The anc here is just perpetuating [more] issues based on race.

Point me to a predominantly white school? I've not seen one of those nigh on 20 years. Maybe those schools in the Natal midlands??

It will be mostly be the Afrikaans ones, there's one in Linden, a primary school.

There were still many private and fee paying public schools with other 50% white pupils when I finished school in 2008.

2008 is a long, long time ago now, there were many when I finished school in 1999 ;-). My son has been of school going age since 2015 and every school we checked and he's gone to hasn't had that ratio.

This is indeed the aim. While disguised in the mantra of "removing inequalities", everybody recognizes it for what it has evolved into. And it is gleefully accepted.
