I suspect she is referring to the few schools that are still over 50% white?

50-50 black-white ratio in schools
The Committee will also table a proposal to ensure diversity at schools. “No school should be registered unless there is 50/50 (representation) in schools,” said Sisulu, who added that a country built a common identity by attending school and that people established bonds when they grew up. White people comprise 4.6-million out of a total 60 million South Africans and skew older, so the schools’ race target is about a small cohort of schools that are not diverse.
Point me to a predominantly white school? I've not seen one of those nigh on 20 years. Maybe those schools in the Natal midlands??
It will be mostly be the Afrikaans ones, there's one in Linden, a primary school.
Anyone dare suggest we export a bunch of black ones?Fsck, do we have to import white kids now?

7.5% of the countries population is white.
Agreed,Yes, she did target a small group, but her proposal is broadly targeted. This proposal, however, disrupts spatial integration, and this is better addressed with spatial planning.
Some put it at 8.5%, others at 9.5% and some at 10%.
Unfortunately, no matter what percentage they use, it does not include the millions of white people who left the country the past 25 years. This figure only include birth registrations at Home Affairs.
Over and above this, this number also do not reflect the total amount of white children who do not attend public schools. Many are in private schools and in recent years a large number are enrolling in online schools. In fact, one online school, Teneo Education, was recently recognized by the DBE as an official school and even issued with a number due to the large amount of children enrolling there.
So, they have real life issues to contend with too.
