If you don't like it leave. Although the odds of it being different in any other country are pretty remote so boo sucks for you

Those adjustable is Tempur and its actually more expensive. You have to add the mattress too.

R1.8 million is hardly a biggie. It's like the price of one corrupt minister's car.

So remember, they have to buy beds in Pretoria and beds in Cape Town. And then its not just for the ministers, and deputy ministers, but also for their families and possibly their aides. The bed industry is like hardware stores. People will always need it.

A decent quality bed. ie Simmons King Size is R32k and thats without bedding even, or R1k for a decent pillow. Most Beds easily have 4x pillows.

So lets say R38k per bed for bedding, pillows, etc. And thats being generous. Thats barely 47 beds only.

So R1.8 million is hardly much to spend on bedding.

Why can't the ministers buy their own beds and furniture?
