Load of bull. we are being done through the ears, and there seems to be nothing we can do about it. I think the cellular operators are all to happy that there is so much attention on Telkom, taking the eyes and concerns of the public of them.
Had a conversation with a South African, now living in Switzerland, about telecoms prices. Again I was astonished: he's paying 25 Frank/month for his unlimited DSL connection and 8 cents/minute for cellular calls. Like he said, since he arrived in Switzerland the price of telecoms have consistantly just been going down.
So yeah, ofcourse we are not paying too much, hell why not raise the prices even further. We the consumer just love to give telecoms shareholders more money!
