There is no smiley to indicate how i would feel when the local loop is unbundled. I'll only throw the party of a lifetime once Telecoms/ADSL everything is SUPER competitive with Overseas trends :)

Yea my feeling as well. I keep on hearing soon and within a certain time but 1st Nov is coming closer and closer and we still have not heard anything about the proposed prices.

Let’s just hope that their idea of LLU is the same as ours.
Fingers crossed.

Normally - within 6 months

With Africa Time - over 6 years

:p

And I say I try to be optomistic :)

Should be unbundled to isp's who *should* then be able to buy regulated, wholesale int bandwidth and route the dsl traffic over their own networks.

I dont see government giving isp's access to the loop, only SNO unfortunately :( Why would they create more competition for a company they own 30% of? for the good of the country? if only....

i hope im wrong
