Great win, superb stuff. Beating India in India (in front of their hordes of fanatical supporters) is even more satisfying than beating Australia. Now let's wrap this series up!

Nothing is more satisfying than beating Australia - nothing!

It seems Miller will become a permanent feature at the top of the order for the rest of the series. The question that begs to be asked then is why was he picked for the tour if he cant handle the spin? We all know he can play spin, he is just horribly out of form and needs to be dropped, same way QdK was.

"He is a very positive player. I like him up the order with new hard ball in India," AB de Villiers, South Afirca's captain explained. "It gives myself, Hashim [Amla] and Francois [du Plessis] an opportunity to bat against the spinners in the middle overs. They've got 30 overs of spin in the game and I'd like to think Hashim, myself and Faf are the best players of spin in the team so for us to bat 3, 4 and 5 gives India a feeling that they've got a lot of work to do to get through our batting line up which worked to the 't' today."

Haha @ "worked to the t"...65/5 from the 39th over onward was the plan? Cool story, AB.

The facts are that the batting has failed twice in 3 games, once chasing an average score and then setting an average score. India have batted as poorly so we're 2-1 up in the series.

Next match, India will bat first, post 280, we will be 200-2 by the 35th and we'll lose the match by 15 runs :D

2-2

Decider comes.

His form has been scratchy, no question!! However, his fielding is incredibly sharp. Those catches he took yesterday played a big part of the victory, especially when you got Morkel dropping regulation catches! catches win matches, cannot be underestimated.

His would be replacement, Zondo, is also a great fielder. Miller is picked to bat in a role that is now ultimately being done Behardien more and more

So JP has been ruled out of the last two ODI's due to his hand injury. This presents a real issue regarding the balance of the side. Dean Elgar has been flown in as replacement but apparently he only arrived at 02:00 this morning so is not a guaranteed starter. He's sort of in the mold of JP (batsman who can bowl a bit).

Chris Morris is the likely replacement as he's an extra seamer that can hold a bat at 7. Aaron Phangiso also a possibility as the additional spinner (but the trade off is a shorter batting line up). With the frailty of the top order a real concern, shortening the batting line up is a risk. However, it might actually have a positive effect with the top six knowing they have to take extra responsibility.

Probable XI though:

1: de Kock
2: Miller (apparently he's going to stay at the top of the order)
3: Amla
4: du Plessis
5: de Villiers
6: Behardien
7: Morris
8: Steyn
9: Rabada
10: Morkel
11: Tahir

BIG blow!!! Damn it man but he has become so injury prone!!!

I think he was just super unlucky. In one over, the ball had been drilled back to him, hitting his hand and knocking his pinkie guard off. Then in the next over (I think it was), Dhoni smashed that return catch back at him and he couldn't get the hands out of the way. Think that mow from MS would've damaged anyone.
