I wonder what's the excuse this time because we can rule out pitch.

Amla is going to get a roasting.

Matt: "Looks to me as though playing on difficult batting pitches and not fairing very well has shattered the South Africans confidence. As a result the shot selection (Elgar, Amla, Faf) was very poor. The lack of form has lead to scattered brains! JP's dismissal was a technical issue. Bat didn't come through straight. Lots of work to be done here to repair the psyche of those lineup"

Pretty spot on.

And if Amla gets drooped as captain or burnt some other way, he deserves it.

We should declare now...that would put the cat amongst the pidgeons! Get em' in, roll em out, chase 380, go down in flames!

We should just concede defeat, pack up, and come back home. This is probably the worst display of test cricket by our national side I have seen in my life. These guys are going to be so negative and demoralized that the English are going to do the exact same to us, only in our own backyard.

The maroons who sent Vilas to India need to be tarred, feathered and run out of town

Fire the Selectors
Fire the coach
Fire the captain (from the captaincy)

In that order

I am afraid that we may see Amla step down as captain. The pressure must be immense. Their performance in the tests will almost certainly have crushed the team both in morale and mentally.

England must be licking their lips for the next series :(

Really didn't need to give the Poms any kind of hope before they land. This performance is going gee them up no end.

I'll be glad if that happens - we'll probably see him return to form at the same time

That's the fighting talk they need to here! Except they haven't a snowballs chance in Hell of believing they could do it. Still... there is always hope :(

Going to be a 3 day test again by the look of things

Better than the previous 2 games where there was nothing to watch on Saturday. I'll probably be doing the Wanderers on Sunday afternoon to get this game out of my head.

Vilas has definitely played QDK back into contention...

AB might as well show off some hitting skills here, the other end is not going to last.
Kapil: "What on earth were SA selectors thinking when they didn't pick QDC for this tour? He would have been much much better than Vilas and would have given a headache to all Indian bowlers considering his record against India and bowlers would have been wary of him rather than Vilas, who frankly has been a walking wicket. He had hit 2-3 100s just before this tour against India A and strangely wasn't picked for this tour. Really poor from SA overall."
