Such a pity AB isn't going. He's on 98 consecutive tests since debut and I would have liked to have seen him get to 100. I don't think that's been done yet. Sadly his wife couldn't organise her pregnancy properly!

So it's AB's own fault then :p

I suppose she could've gone to Bangladesh ahead of time and given birth there during the tour?

Transformation tour.

Dang fine test team with depth in batting and bowling. The choice of at least two spin options. They'll do well (weather permitting).

Dane isn't an opener. Also hash wants to bat 4 not 3. Neither is stiaan really but he has been playing there for the cobras so deserve a chance in that position.

So my team:

1.Elgar
2.Stiaan van Zyl
3.Faf
4.Amla
5.JP
6.QDK
7.Vilas
8.Vernon
9.Harmer
10.Steyn
11.Morkel

Personally would have had rillee there especially with ab abandoning the team for the tour.

Yes.
Can't have the luxury of 2 unknown wicketkeeper quantities in a team. Vilas goes.

Reeza is similar to Alviro so we need to try him as opener.

Where the f is Rilee Rossouw?

I'm struggling to get amped for this tour. Still heartbroken after the WC. Maybe the enthusiasm will kick in when the first ball is bowled :D

I almost missed the tour. Suddenly realised it's July and we might be playing a bit of cricket o'er yonder.
