My mates still tease me today that it's a pity that we never had T20 around in our time. I caught it right at the end of my premier league playing days.

If there was money in the game in the early 80s I would have focused more on my game, but decided that my job came first. Seeing how some of the cricketers of those years are struggling today I don't regret it. There really was no money in cricket.

Classic example: My hero, RG Pollock, is very ill and I attended a fundraiser in his honour earlier this year.

The only guys who made a little money (and I mean little) were those who played extensively in the English County leagues. And they were given titles like assistant groundsman, kit manager, etc. to enable them to get a salary!!!

Rilee Rossouw is becoming indispensable at the close of the innings. His quick-fire runs made the total a little more challenging. It would also have affected the psyche of the incoming batsmen. Instead of 140, it's suddenly 170. Nice.

How Parnell can be picked ahead of Morris, I don't understand. Rabada is also a better bowler than Parnell, but not considered an all rounder.
