I know it's very early doors, but Eddie Leie looks like a real prospect! Getting some good turn and bounce. Him in conjunction with Immie Tahir at the upcoming T20 World Cup could be a real handful for opposition batsmen.

The capitulation is happening quickly. Horses for courses and the spinners are plying their trade well. Pleased for Aaron and Eddie.

They're going to give selectors quite the headache in future tours where Tahir is also included. Who do you pick before the other?

Rilee Rossouw is becoming indispensable at the close of the innings. His quick-fire runs made the total a little more challenging. It would also have affected the psyche of the incoming batsmen. Instead of 140, it's suddenly 170. Nice.

Especially with Faf and Miller not accelerating.

Pity Parnell cannot pull a hammy while going to the change rooms... then Eddie Leie can stay for the ODIs !!!

Man that yorker from Abbott is a killer!!! Glad to see Leie also performing well!

Parnell at 9.66... sigh.

Is it just me or is our batting slightly underwhelming?

You sir, should be a selector!

Congratulations to the Saffers. Please for the lads. The win was made to look relatively easy by a team effort. And on Twitter I see that the 3-for by 3 bowlers is a first in T20Is. All the more special that it was 2 of the "spinsters" assisting in this feat!

We also have Piedt coming back.

I can't remember the last time we had so many spinning options ( harmer Piedt, Tahir, Phangiso, Leie)

Very promising.... kinda feel bad that I do not even miss the likes of philander, morkel & even steyn in the shorter format of the game... hope this is the recipe the gonna experiment with as the T20 is not that far away...

I do wonder though if we not a batsmen short atm?

Update

2pm Some not-so-good news: Heavy rain has kept the South African team in the hotel, home team is at the ground. They will speak to the match ref at 2pm local time to ascertain the start time and then proceed. There is a delay, for sure.
