This is gonna be a tough one. It looks likely that John Smit, Juan Smith and Steenkamp won't start. I think that Skinstad will be there (I hope) and Steenkamp will be replaced by Os with Carstens getting called back into the squad. I did not like the way the team faired when Matfield took over, they lost all composure and I don't think those 2 line outs (from penalties) were the right idea, secure a draw or win first. I think they might do better running Skinstad as captain.

I think depending on the team selection it is going to be very very physical, and a low try scoring game. 21-15 to the Boks

I will be enjoying this one from the stadium :D

I agree when John Smit left the field I was actually reliefed, thinking Botha would be a huge improvement.

It was clear that without Smit the Boks seemed to lose all direction and momentum.

I still think SA will win against NZ 18-11

They had better start Andre Pretorius.

There is no-one in the World who would be able to play toe to toe against
Dan carter except for Pretoruis.

Butch will not be able to handle Carter. He had a Crappy game and he was playing Larkem. Now Carter is in a completly different league.

well guys i dont think the all blacks played well against canada, carter changed everything, we need to keep him quite to have a chance

john smit left and we where a bit confused but nobody can deny second half we owned the aussies, when u loose your captain thing will be a mess for a bit, it didnt help that he went off around the time spies did and thats what hurt us

second half the aussies did not score one point AMAZING if you ask me

Smit:It was just a shock to the team to loose him so early thats all, we had to re-shuffle everything after 10 mins of play and tactics had to be changed aswell.

Im not a big fan of smit, IHMO i think botha is better, he just needs more starts and looks like he will get a start this weekend?

IF so then everything tactics wise should be in place by then,I agree with pitbull-Carter is going to be a menace and Pretorius i think is the only one smart enough to out think him.

but alas lets hope for the best.

24-12 infavour of SA

Smit went off after 10 minutes? Spies 5 minutes before half time? :)

smit went off after 10 minutes?

i dont recall it being so early

im sure he went off around the time of smit

Yeah, it was early. :)

In the 11th minute the Boks lost captain John Smit to a hamstring injury and while the home side scored their only try through centre Jaque Fourie, the Australians dominated the rest of the first period.

Anyway, I get your point. I'm just being technical..

:P

I also thought it felt quite a bit later than 11 mins

strange seemed like the 30th minute atleast lol

although by then i just had 7th zamelec of the day so i was well on my way :)

aggg well who cares the aussies did not score a point in the 40 minutes that followed the first half :)

28-12 to All Blacks :D

Eish man, I dont know, I do not want to admit it, but I have a feeling he might be right, we are missing some of our key players, and this is THE all blacks. But I still hope we pull through

yeah does look bleak for us

Even if we win we have to win by a large margin for we then need to go to the AB's and play there which wont be easy at all.

I agree, reckon we gonna come off second best - due to so many first choice playas out thru injury.

seems like some easy money to be made betting on the AB's - anyone know what odds are been offered?
