I've re-watched this match over the years more times than I like to admit... absolutely brilliant. If you've got an hour to spare, let this game bring back some great memories!

I sat right below the Aussie supporters on the day.

Shell shocked doesn't even begin to describe the look when SA posted the winning runs.

I remember the commentary at the end...Darryl Cullinan couldn't resist getting his licks in - "We have to ask ourselves who are the chokers now?"

Love how at the beginning of the game the commentators talking about a 270 score maybe 300. Never in there wildest did they consider a 436 & 438 innings

I did not see a single ball or run of this game. I can recall that we were on the road and I was listening to radio comnentry.

As we got closer to home and we entered the hills, we lost signal and I could not hear what happened in the last 5 hours or so. It was so frustrating.

I fell asleep during the South African chase because I had pretty much written them off.
My wife, who doesn't even watch cricket, woke me up at about 240 runs.

What an amazing match.

He nearly ate his words though with Hall going out the very next ball. But thankfully it worked out in the end. Was an amazing game.

Same here. Wrote them off and took a nap...until my brother frantically woke me up to watch from around the 200 run mark

I still have this game on DVD. Ball by ball action!
Hehe. Great.

I watched the whole game - we lived within earshot of Wanderers at the time - and woke my wife to share the thrill. Bought the DVD set when it was released, but haven't watched it since, must confess.
