this is why I feel Hash is not needed in the squad. he is brilliant, but Faf and JP are just better at ticking over runs wile keeping the big hitter at the other side calm and on strike. I love Hash dont get me wrong, but I think QDK and AB should open, Faf and JP should be 4 and 5 to add stability wiht a good strike rate.

Except that JP and AB are playing at the same time in the same team and against the same opposition. I would back JP over Rilee/Farhaan

Yeah. JP is the man. Solid fielder, useful 5th bowler when he's in a bit of form and we know what he can do with the bat. He's an innings or 2 away from regaining form. Fills a quota too and I hate to say that cause he's there on merit and merit alone but yeah. Thank the politicians for that.

I agree - he has class and it is insulting to him to refer to him as a quota player.
