See the crew have been released on bail, pomms say no passengers are under suspicion.

Also found 4KG's of cocaine with the 50KG's of wacky tabacky.

Nice to know that those billions of rands the taxpayers 'give' SAA each and every year to finance this South African marketing campaign is used so well.

Heeeeey. This is your cap'n speaking. We are now cruising, and I mean crooo-ooozing at 35000 feet. Our estimated time of arrival was 08:00 local but hey, we'll pull in when we pull in. Schweet.

Stewardess, bring up some of those snacky things in the little bags, 5 beef meals and my pi, err "pen" from my flight bag. Fantastic.

news reports say they were released without charge. shouldn't need any bail if you not being charged, no?

gives a whole new meaning to being high though.:D

They had a pom reporter on 702 this arvie, he definately said that they had been released on bail, it was still up in the air (lol) as to whether or not they would be allowed to return to SA, or if they had to stay in pommieville.

Also bag checkers responsible for crew luggage are under scrutiny.

Fly high with marijuana airlines.

I reckon this aircrew has some fairly serious explaining to do when they get back home.

I wonder if the aircrew members actually had any inkling of the huge stash in the hold of their plane, if it was there. If they were released unconditionally, there was probably abslolutely no evidence against them; the joob just happened to be in the plane. Who knows who put it there.

There will also be some seriously stressed dealers in London, who will not be making their January sales targets. :D

If a few of the crew were hauling 50kgs of dope and 4 kg's of blow to the UK, you would get good odds on the fact that this had been done before, perhaps many times.
Thats a lot a drugs to be dabbling in for first timers.
