Hlaudi will give them the finger most probably.

And have something to say.

Wow. ICASA did something right.

Maybe I'm alone here, but I for one think it should be kept censored.
I am a person that does not believe in censorship at all... but in this case, it really is in our best interest.

Showing the masses how easy it is to loot shopping centres with the police unable to do anything, might not be the best course of action here.
Keep it on the internet/facebook/youTube - sure.... but don't broadcast it on TV.

I disagree entirely. The news should not be censored. Ever. For whatever reason. The people have the right to know what is going on in the country. Your argument is invalid too, the people already know its easy to loot shops and burn property. Hence why it's a problem now.

You and I have a different view on the word "problem".
What we have now is not a problem. If you think "it's a problem now" you are either too short sighted or do not understand the domino effect, or the speed at which a country can actually change.

I hate censorship too - but I would not recommend the SABC airing a "demo" to all the starving people around the country, showing what a group of people can do to a shopping centre.
You're basically showing starving people that there is a way to get free stuff, all they need to do is gather enough people.

Some things are just better kept away from the public.

As we've seen in Tshwane, it makes no difference whatsoever. They will loot and act like criminals irrespective. The problem is a lack of crowd control and law enforcement, as usual...

And nothing will change:

15:54
We as SABC we are not stopping here. We are going to challenge the Icasa ruling - Hlaudi
15:53
He says SABC broke the Tshwane story. He doesn't know why people want to dictate to the SABC.
15:51
We as SABC are on track. We are not apologetic on the issues that we deal on. It's still hullabaloo when people talk about censorship - Hlaudi
Every newsroom censors stories every day, he says.

Just take away their broadcast license if they fail to comply. Finish en klaar.

This whole BS about "we will appeal, then take you to court, then take you to the supreme court of appeals, then take you to the concourt" must stop. The regulator must have the balls to regulate...
