No the tv license isnt for SABC content. Its if you own a device that can receive a broadcasting signal.

Now after Covid you have to wonder where that R600 billion covid funds are coming from. Most of the middle class taxpayers didnt get any benefit or even any amount from the fund. But they will be told to help cover it as a once off. Then it will be stuck to them for eternity.

Same with the Road Accident Fund levy. It was never supposed to be long term, just temporary. Now its effectively a permanent fuel tax.

Compared to other countries we are being milked dry. Either the country breaks up or the people need to leave. And now especially High Net worth people are dumping South Africa. It is the African way. If you can't compete with another service, destroy it - either through legislation, or actual physical destruction. Failing that, tax it to death. Much like grass in townships, creativity and ingenuity isn't allowed to grow.
