Legendary India batsman Sachin Tendulkar has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
The 40-year-old retired from one-day internationals last year and will play two matches against West Indies next month which will take him to 200 Tests.

True but what a sour way to go.... cut short the SA tour so that he can play a mickey mouse Test on home soil.

I'm sure Tendu wouldn't have cared where his 200th was. The BCCI obviously do care. Massive revenue for them.

+1.

Why not come to an agreement with CSA?

2 test in SA, 2 in India... or something like that.

Quite a good idea. Makes you wonder why the fat cats on the CSA and BCCI board dont think up stuff like this.

You can understand him wanting to play his final test on his home ground.

All the BCCI crap aside, the game is losing another legend. He's set the benchmark for all modern cricketers, and I don't see anyone getting near him any time soon.

True legend.
He gave up his freedom for Indian Cricket.
Poor guy can't even go onto the streets in day light without being lynched.

Have you ever read or watched a documentary on his life?
Being paid **** load for not being able to leave your house unless under guard must be fun.
