The Automobile Association has classified South Africa's cheapest cars into acceptable, moderate, and poor safety categories.

So the AA just totally ignored one of the most crucial safety aspects for crash impact survivability - the structural bodyshell integrity - one of the primary requirements for the Global NCAP safety star ratings???

Its no good if a model has 2, 4 or even 6 airbags when the front doors & A-pillars bend like wet Papier Mache, the steering column impales you against the seat backrest and the dashboard mounting frames break your lower legs, or the lack of side impact rigidity sandwiches the occupants on top of each other in a T-bone collision.
