Thought it would be interesting. I often wonder about a particular player and what happened to them. I'll be watching Heineken Cup and up he will pop.

Would love a list of South Africans currently playing abroad.

And in all seriousness that team could give the low-ranking Tier 1 nations (Scotland & Italy) a good go.

Have they already left? I lumped them with Josh Strauss as those who are on their way overseas.
Kanko and Olivier already left, which is the reason they are not available for the Boks at the moment. Kanko will return in January though because he only signed for 6 months. He will be back in time for the Super Rugby season.

DJ...

This is what I was talking about a few months ago - I have shared some terrible puns and setups years ago, just waiting for someone to see them and enjoy them. This is a fantastic day and for that, I thank you:
Sandman for reviving the thread;
je$$ie for finally catching the joke; and
ray for the gif.

Bit tangential to the OP but...

Good friend of mine went overseas (SA>Germany) and the amount of rugby he plays went off the charts (like near zero to weekly). Turns out the Germans are pretty damn good at organising even "minority" sports on a regional level...
