Salaries of SABC's COOs

and for their uselessness, not to mention the crap that comes out of their mouths, they want an increase in license fees from the fools who pay?
they really should make this a privately run organisation, to restore some dignity (!) and at least some responsibility & accountability.
Whatever happened to employing ethical, skilled people with experience into jobs that matter, get value for money for the organisation?... umh... nevermind
it really boggles the mind, that the masses dont go up in arms about the salaries for these people.
they go on strike, screw themselves out of money, even if they do eventually get an increase, yet they dont take action about this fatcat policy that just follows whats happening in the government they keep voting for.... umh, again... i guess we know why :D

Moral of the story for kids of South Africa, you don't need matric, can lie on your CV, and end up earning R2.5 Mill a year :)

Some of us are definitely taking the long route around..

Wish I knew this before I studied for 4 years, not to mention the money I would have saved
 
Not true, to get that by skipping matric etc, most if us need some serious work on our tan.
 
all of this points to JZ.... as the supreme leader, the prez is supposed to stop these kind of things, then you will cure so many social ills and evils.
but alas, he himself is part of the problem :-(
as long as he keeps telling all (and him believing it!) "There is no crisis", how are things to improve?
 
Now we know how JZ got voted in (and kept in).. nice fcking huge salaries for his friends.
 
How is that a good salary with people in the other thread saying you need at least 2Mil/year to live comfortably. He is the COO which is a good position. What contribution he makes and whether he deserves to be there is a different story though...
 
The problem is from the top going down. I'm sure the day we get a REAL president things will start to fall into place at the bottom as well
