Sam Altman rejoining OpenAI board following investigation into firing

OpenAI chief executive officer Sam Altman was cleared of any wrongdoing that would have mandated being fired from the company late last year, according to a report based on a monthslong investigation into the events leading up to his brief ouster.

WilmerHale, the law firm that conducted the inquiry, found that the board’s decision to fire Altman was a “consequence of a breakdown in the relationship and loss of trust between the prior board and Mr. Altman,” the artificial intelligence startup said Friday.

This would make a good movie, something along the lines of Network/Margin Call

Looks like all is NOT what it seems with Sam Altman & OpenAI after all... this would make an even better Netflix movie, with these latest dramatic allegations against him & the company...

Mother of Likely Murdered OpenAI Whistleblower Reveals All, Calls for Investigation of Sam Altman - Tucker Carlson

Suchir Balaji worked as an engineer for Sam Altman building AI, until he decided that Altman was committing crimes. Balaji became a whistle-blower, and soon after was found dead in his apartment.

California authorities claim it was suicide. Crime scene photos clearly show a murder.

Balaji’s mother, Poornima Ramarao, tells the most shocking story we’ve heard in a long time.

The San Francisco Police Department has concluded its investigation into the death of Suchir Balaji, a former OpenAI employee and whistleblower, determining it to be a suicide. The SFPD stated there was "insufficient evidence" to support a homicide ruling.

Balaji had accused OpenAI of copyright infringement in an article published by The New York Times.

One week after his name appeared in related court documents, he was found dead in his San Francisco apartment, with the cause of death reported as an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A private pathologist, hired by Balaji’s family, identified irregularities in the gunshot wound and injuries that were deemed inconsistent with suicide. These findings were not addressed in the official police report.

Despite the family filing a lawsuit to access complete records, the SFPD has upheld its determination, dismissing the family’s concerns, and has officially closed the investigation into Balaji’s death.
