Samsung 64bit drivers

searched and found similar problems, but no solution, on windows 7 (64bit specifically) my Galaxy Gio installs drivers mostly successfully, however it fails on installing "samsung usb modem"

mass storage device works fine, but the side effect is KIES can't connect and obviously I cannot use the phone as a modem

hoping somebody has solved this one as google has not proven very helpful in this case

anyone?

Thank god it's not just me with that problem.

I have the Wave 2 and everything installs but The usb modem fails.

I cant find any solution on the internet, so now im just running a virtual windows xp to run kies on

Works fine with the Galaxy S2, but that could be cuz its the S2

i'm fine without KIES, ODIN ftw, and luckily I have a work laptop with 32bit Win7 on where all is well, but dammit I want the modem capability in times of need!

Happens to me every now and then when I reinstall. I changed to the x86 drivers and they worked.

Actually, when I formatted last I didn't even need to install them
