Has Samsung taken the trouble to clarify the eSIM situation on SM-N986B ?
I want to buy but will not do so unless it really has eSim installed and enabled. I only need it for travelling so not interested if MTV, Vodacom, etc are allowing eSim useage locally. Is there clarity on this. It is important.

Firstly,
i have a SM-N986B
It is a dual sim device.
Works fine with two sim cards... etc.
I have tested it.
I found no issues in using it.

Regarding your query about esim, etc,
if you look at some of my previous post (screenshots)
you will see it does, has esim , in its Firmware.
Further, I have also read post (in another forum)
where that person was using esim, in same model / device as me.
His Service Provider enabled it.

Further from, what i can understand from XDA forum post (Dr Ketan, a XDA developer)
If your device is dual sim etc etc, then
enabling, that esim Functions, is basically
controlled via, Service Provider CSC.

I posted a screenshot of his reply re esim, in my previous post, above.

Bottom line
The way i see /understand it its not Samsung...in this case , but the Service Providers that has the final say.!
In the end you still stuck with the Service Provider, if you like it or not...!

Is the Note 20 really worth the price tag? Due for upgrade from a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but soon realised how insanely they are priced.

Had a Note 3 which I loves to bits. Was looking forward to get another Note, but eish.

Android 11 with One UI 3.0, for the Note 10 series has already been rolling out, to various Countries (CSC ) for quite some time .
As i also have a Note 10+ ,i checked( See Link list below )
If you look on Sammobile link/page , you will see on the update list, of Note 10 devices ( under heading "Version " showing 11 ( Android 11 )

On a note 20 ultra. Some apps are not opening. Shows the splash screen and then just closes. Have to clear data and cache and then it works. Anyone experienced this?
